After your beamtime
Remember to take your data, equipment, DACs and samples home with you. Please do not leave anything here. The easiest and fastest way to ship your equipment or samples back is with a prepaid FedEx return label provided by your institution. Users are allowed to place their shipments in any FedEx drop box.
If you require use of ANL’s shipping department, a current FedEx account number or APS Cost Code is required. SDS forms are required to accompany ALL samples. Next-day shipping is NOT available. It takes a day or more for a shipping request to be approved and for your package to reach the shipping department.
After you have completed your experiment, please Complete an End of Experiment form (EEF). The experiment spokesperson listed on the ESAF will be sent instructions.
Access your data via Globus online.
Remember to Acknowledge HPCAT and the APS in any resulting publications, and Notify us and APS of publications resulting from APS data.
Please include the new DOI requirement. DOI for your experiment(s) can be found in your APS User Portal. For older experiments, provide your ESAF ID# to the APS User Office [email protected] and they will provide the Experiment DOI.
Notify the APS User Office if any of the following apply:
Any changes in employer/institution/affiliation - email communications are sent to the email address on file.
Any changes in name or immigration status/USCIS documents
Any civil or criminal problems
