Congratulations to our partner user, Earl O’Bannon, from LLNL's high pressure physics group. Earl was recently selected as editor of International journal of Physics and Chemistry of Minerals

Physics and Chemistry of Minerals (https://www.springer.com/journal/269) is an international journal devoted to publishing articles and short communications about physical or chemical studies on minerals, or solids related to minerals. Earl’s background in high-pressure physics, mineralogy, and geoscience has well-positioned him to maintain the quality and impact of this journal as it continues to advance our deeper understanding of Earth science. Earl is part of the LLNL high pressure group and has been a long time part of the partner user group at HPCAT and he also has extensive experience working at other synchrotron facilities as well.
