HPCAT Beamline Scientist, Guoyin Shen, was recently recognized for his contribution as one of AGU’s Outstanding Reviewers of 2018. The American Geophysical Union publishes 22 highly respected, peer-reviewed scientific journals covering research in the Earth and space sciences. Honored reviewers were selected by the editors of each AGU journal.

Peer-reviewed literature provides a trusted form of scientific communication and validates the quality of research.  The process relies on experts in the same field to evaluate emerging experimental techniques and data analysis and ultimately improves the published work.
